2.6 Pin assignment of power supply
Warning
• Only use PELV circuits in accordance with IEC/EN 60204-1 (protective extra-low
voltage, PELV) for the electrical power supply.
• Obser ve also the general requirements for PELV power circuits in accordance with
IEC/EN 60204-1.
• Only use voltage sources which ensure reliable electrical isolation of the operating
voltage in ac c ordance with IEC/EN 60204-1.
Through the use of PELV circuits, protection a gainst electric shock (protection against direct and indir-
ect contact) is ensured in accordance with IEC/EN 60204-1.
The current consumption of a CPX terminal depends on the number and type of integrated modules and
components.
In the CPX system description, read the information on power supply as well as on the
earthing measures to be carried out (P.BE-CPX-SYS-…).
