The Distributing/Conveyor station is a feeder unit. Feeder units fulfil the function of holding, sorting and
feeding workpieces. In addition, feeder units also enable workpieces to be sorted according to several
characteristics (workpiece shape, weight etc.).
Feeder units include:
 Magazines with separator function
 Vibratory hopper conveyors
 Inclined conveyors
 Hoppers with feed separators
Workpieces which can be handled by feeder units
include:
 Electroplated parts
 Moulded plastic parts
 Stamped parts
 Turned parts
The station has been expanded for the MPS
®
System 203 Basic to include a signal column. The signal
column is connected to the control panel.
