The station combines the handling functions "inspection" and "joining".
In the case of the inspection function, certain properties are assigned to differently oriented workpieces by
acquiring data (actual values) and comparing this with predefined values (setpoints).
Depending on the properties determined, either a joining process is started or the workpiece is passed
through at the deflector. The workpieces have to be transported individually so as not to interfere with
workpiece differentiation and the joining process.
Distance sensor output signals
The distance sensor transmits both an analog and a binary output signal. The binary switching
output can be adapted to the measurement requirement via a simple teach-in process.
Thanks to the bus node expansions, the Pick&Place module can be used with various protocols depending
on the controller.
