The third phase represents a powerful and flexible
tool that allows you to draw the plant being in front
of the panel and without the use of a PC and its SW
configuration.
A series of controls have been designed to prevent
the generation of incorrect or unmanageable
conditions.
Assign each device an address. Ensure that the
address meets the following conditions:
The address does not belong to an older
generation device from the FC400 series.
For FC503: The address is in the range of 1 to
250.
For FC506: The address for the first loop is in
the range of 1 to 250 and the address for the
second loop is in the range of 1 to 250.
The address belongs to a new generation
device and the device is present in the list of
located devices.
The address is not a duplicate of an
automatically assigned address.
In each case at the end of the device mapping
phase a check is performed to detect the presence
of doubles addresses. See Figure 26, C. In this
case the involved addresses are indicated and it is
not possible to end the procedure until the error
condition is removed.
