What to do if there is no image on multifunction display from FLIR Raymarine CAM220IP Security Camera?
    • A
      austincharlesAug 4, 2025
If you're not seeing an image from your FLIR Security Camera on the multifunction display, first, use the Camera application on the MFD to cycle through the available camera feeds to see if the IP camera image is displayed. Ensure that the camera is connected to the multifunction display according to the instructions, correctly powered on, and that both the MFD and camera are physically connected to the same network. Also, make sure the MFD is running the latest version of LightHouse software. Try power cycling the IP camera while leaving your multifunction display powered up.

Why FLIR Security Camera video performs poorly?
    • S
      Sophia GoodAug 10, 2025
Poor video performance from your FLIR Security Camera may be due to insufficient bandwidth for a high-quality stream. To fix this, use a connected PC to select a lower resolution stream, which will conserve bandwidth and improve performance on low bandwidth connections. If using a PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer, click the message above the video area to use the ActiveX plug-in instead of Flash Player; ActiveX may provide smoother video performance.

How to fix FLIR Security Camera that does not power on?
    • B
      Bryan JohnsonAug 16, 2025
If your FLIR Security Camera isn't powering on, check the following: For a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection, ensure the Ethernet cable is correctly and securely connected, and that you're not using a crossover coupler or cable. Make sure the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device is switched on and has enough remaining power to power the camera. For a dedicated power cable connection, ensure the power supply meets the camera’s power requirements, is switched on, and that all power cables are correctly and securely connected.

What to do if PSE is allocating PoE to FLIR Security Camera?
    • N
      Nathaniel PhelpsAug 22, 2025
If the PSE is allocating PoE to the camera even though it is powered using a separate power supply, note that PoE allocation always takes priority over the dedicated power supply. If connecting the camera to a PSE ensure that the camera’s dedicated power cable is not connected. Alternatively, re-configure the network so the camera is plugged into a non-PoE ethernet connection.

How to find FLIR Security Camera IP address?
    • J
      Joshua PerezOct 28, 2025
By default, the FLIR Security Camera is set to obtain an IP address by DHCP, meaning it automatically gets one from the network. To find it, make sure your PC and camera are configured for the same IP address range and subnet mask (IPv4). Try to Ping the camera’s IP address by going to Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt, type 'ping' followed by the camera’s local IP address, and press Enter. Replies mean the camera is connected; a 'request timed out' message means they are not on the same network or the camera is disconnected. Also, disable any VPN software on your PC, check under network infrastructure (with UPnP enabled) by going to My Computer > Network, ensure your PC’s network settings are correctly configured. You can also use the supplied IP Scanner software to find the...
