8.8.6 Replacing the stickers
8.8.6.1 Preliminary operations
Preliminary step to facilitate the sticker removal: preheat to low temperature the sticker
using a heat gun; it will soften the glue (be careful not to burn the sticker).
8.8.6.2 Replacement
A. Lift a corner of the sticker with a knife cutter (be careful not to damage the
equipment).
B. Peel off the sticker slowly from the corner.
If the sticker is removed too fast, it might leave more residues.
If this happens, stop the peeling and start again from another corner.
C. Spray a solvent, specific to the removal of sticker, on the residues and rub it on the
entire surface with a spatula.
D. Remove the residues with a glass scraper.
E. If there are stubborn residues, rub the surface with a clean lint free cloth moistened
with acetone.
8.8.6.3 Installation
A. Apply a cleaning agent and a degreasing agent, white gas-based, and rub with a
clean lint free cloth.
If your cleaning product is not on Flowbird recommended products list, try the product on
a small area of the equipment, to ensure that the product will not deteriorate the paint.
B. When the surface is clean and dry, carry on with the sticking process below.
C. Peel off the protective film on the adhesive surface of the sticker.
D. Place the top right corner of the sticker on the top right corner of its intended
location, ensuring that it is aligned correctly and placed perfectly against the side.
E. Press the corner of the sticker so that it sticks.
F. Press and hold the top right corner and place the top left corner of the sticker in the
top left corner of its intended location, pulling as much as possible the top side of
the sticker towards the left.
Ensure that the sticker does not extend beyond its intended area.
G. When the sticker positioning is satisfactory, rub several times with your finger the
top of the sticker, while maintaining its lower part lifted (this step avoids the
presence of bubbles).
H. Rub slowly left to right, then right to left, moving gradually towards the bottom of the
sticker, so that the sticker is applied without any bubbles.
