FLARM
The GPS M can optionally include the FLARM module. This only works
as "beacon" mode, that is to say that your position can be seen by other
aircraft equipped with bi-directional FLARM (for example a LIVE DS with
the optional "FLARM AWARE"), but the GPS M will not be able to see or
alert of the presence of other aircraft.
Even so, the FLARM beacon is currently the most popular and most
implemented mean of being seen in the skies and has the potential for
an aircraft to deviate from its current position, thus avoiding a potential
collision with you.
