VERIFY THE HOT END TEMPERATURE
Use Pronterface to verify that the hot end is working properly. Set the “heat” temperature to 230°C and click the
set button. Watch the graph to make sure the temperature of the hot end is heating up and holds steady around
230°C. If the bed temp is rising, then they are plugged in backwards. Set the bed temp to 100 and click the set
button.
Once the printer bed has reached temp and maintained it for a few minutes, press the off button. Before turning
off the hot end, proceed to the next step “Verify the Extruder”.
