Answering Calls from the System
When the system calls out and the call is answered, the
person who answered will hear the custom message thats
been recorded into the system ahead of time. While this
recorded message is playing, pressing # will prevent the sys-
tem from calling any other numbers in the list.
Aer that, the person can hang up and call back in to the
system if needed, following the steps in the Calling the Sys-
tem section.
If the person hangs up the call without pressing #, then the
system will continue calling any other phone numbers in
the list, one at a time.
Recording Your Custom Message
When the alarm is triggered and a phone line is connected,
the system will call out and play your custom message to
the person who answers the call. You can record a custom
message up to 10 seconds in length.
For example, you may wish to record something like the
following: “e burglar alarm has been triggered at (street
address). Please send help.
To record or re-record your custom message, enter Pro-
gramming Mode (page 7), then...

Speak into the microphone while the timer counts down.
Press # when youre done, or let the timer nish on its own.
