3 - Emergency
Any accessories in a Zone with this setting will trigger the
alarm immediately, even if the system is disarmed. is is
ideal for certain types of accessories, such as smoke alarms,
panic buttons, etc.
4 - Disabled
Any accessories in a Zone with this setting will not trigger
the alarm, even if the system is armed.
5 - Away Armed Mode
Any accessories in a Zone with this setting will trigger the
alarm when it’s armed in Out Mode.
If the system is armed in Home Mode, or if the system is
disarmed, then the accessories will not do anything when
triggered.
By default, any motion detectors included with your sys-
tem are pre-programmed in Away Armed Mode. at way,
you can still move around inside your house at night with-
out triggering the alarm, but the doors and windows will
still be armed and protecting the perimeter of your house.
Changing Zone Settings
To change a Zone Setting for a certain Zone, enter Pro-
gramming Mode (page 7), then...
* [2-digit Zone number] 2 [1-digit Zone Setting] #
For example, to set Zone 03 to ‘Type 1 - Instant’...
