Combi 80/120 at plate heat
exchanger removal for cleaning
5. Release the pressure of CH circuit by loosing the plastic
screw placed next to the CH return (5), see Figure156.
Release Heat Exchanger pressure in the
boiler by loosing the plastic screw of the pump
placed next to heat exchanger return.
6. Remove the two (2) screws securing the plate heat
exchanger to the diverter valve and to the DHW inlet.
7. Pull out the at plate heat exchanger pulling out and
up from the rear of the boiler.
e gas valve does NOT need to be
removed to replace brazed plate heat
exchanger
Combi 155 at plate heat exchanger removal
for cleaning
1. For the Combi-155, release the pressure from system.
2. Release residual pressure in domestic hot water circuit in the boiler
by opening a hot water tap downstream of the boiler.
3. Loosen four (4) ttings of brazed plate heat exchanger to the
DHW Outlet (diverter valve - le side) and to the DHW Inlet
(right side), see Figure160,page119; these release the brazed
plate heat exchanger. Pull out the at plate heat exchanger pull-
ing out and up from the rear of the boiler. (e le jacket panel
and blower motor maybe removed to facilitate removal).
e gas valve does NOT need to be removed to
replace brazed plate heat exchanger
4. Flat plate heat exchanger can be immersed in a chemical clean-
ing bath.
