Startup Phase and Grid Feed-in Mode
Startup phase The inverter carries out a self test after being turned on automatically. Then a test of the
public grid is carried out. This test takes five minutes. During the startup sequence the illu-
mination of the Operating Status LED is yellow.
Test procedure 1. Segment test
All display elements light up for about one second
2. Self test of essential inverter components
- The inverter goes through a master check list for several seconds
- The display shows ‘TEST’ and indicates the respective component that is being
tested (for example, ‘LED’)
3. Synchronization with grid:
- ‘WAIT PS’ is displayed, the inverter icon flashes: The inverter is waiting for all
power stage sets in the network to be on stand-by. This procedure takes place
dependent on the DC voltage
- Next, the display shows ‘SYNC AC,’ the grid icon flashes.
4. Startup test
- Before the inverter starts feeding energy into the grid, the conditions of the grid
are tested in accordance with local regulations.
- The display shows ‘START UP.’
