Examples for measuring the ground conductor current
When carrying out the measurement (direct or differential current process), the ground
conductor current must not exceed the limit value of 3.5 mA **).
**) These requirements relate to DIN VDE 0701-0702 and ÖVE/ÖNORM E8701-1. In ad-
dition, individual national requirements and standards must also be observed.
Contact Current - Measurement should only be carried out once measurement of ground conductor cur-
rent has been carried out successfully
- The device must remain in operation.
Measurements are taken between a grounded point and the touchable, conductive part
which is not connected with the ground conductor.
The contact current must not exceed 0.5 mA *).
