Danger from improperly prepared mains cable.
Short circuits and damage to property may result.
Fit ferrules to all phase conductors and the ground conductor of the
stripped mains cable.
Connecting the
mains cable
If no mains cable is connected, a mains cable that is suitable for the connection
voltage must be fitted before commissioning.
The ground conductor should be approx. 10 - 15 mm (0.4 - 0.6 in.) longer than
the phase conductors.
A graphic representation of the mains cable connection is provided in the sec-
tions "Fitting the strain-relief device" or "Fitting the strain-relief device for
Canada / US." To connect the mains cable, proceed as follows:

Remove the side panel of the device

Push in the mains cable so that the ground conductor and phase conductor
can be properly connected to the block terminal.

Fit a ferrule to the ground conductor and phase conductor
4
Connect the ground conductor and phase conductor to the block terminal
5
Secure the mains cable with a strain-relief device

Fit the side panel of the device
