8.29 Pause scanning

SCANNER SETTINGS
3. Select one of the following options and click the [OK] button.
<Pause/Resume>
If this setting is enabled, scan is suspended/restarted in the following operation.
Pause
• Press the [Send to] button during scan operation.
Resume
• Press the [Scan] button while scan operation is suspended.
• Remove all documents on the Hopper and in the transport path.
(Scanning operation is resumed from the status when the message “Load Paper“ is dis-
played.)
Disable : Disables the pause scanning.
Enable : Enables the pause scanning.
• This function is disabled in manual feeding mode.
• Do not switch the feeding mode to the manual feeding, or change the
Pause scanning to [Disable].
• Pause scanning function is enabled from the second sheet of the batch
or later after scan starts.
• Pausing the scanning operation is possible at a position where scan-
ning can be resumed. For this reason, if there is a document in the
transport path, scanning is paused after the document is scanned.
