Your FUTRO can b e equipped w ith an optional Power over Ethern et module.
Using the Power over E the
rnet adapter, you can operate the FUTRO via th e LAN without an
additional power connec
tion. To do this, you will nee d a corresponding network infrastructure.
To operate the FUTRO via
the Power over Ethernet adapter, midspan devices (power supply via
intermediary s ources,
such as PoE injector) with a power output of 60 W and shielded CAT-5
network cable or highe
r quality cable are required. Endspan devices (direct power supply via
a PoE switch) are only s
upported in connection with a hardw are classification.
Fujitsu recommends
the use of the following midspan devices:
• 1-port midspan from
Microsemi PD-9501G: S26361-F1744-L10
• 12-port midspan from Microsemi PD-9512G: S 26361-F1744 -L20
When operating the FUTRO via the Power over Ethernet adapter, the external
USB power output is limited to max. 5 watts.
