CD/DVD indicator
CD/DVDindicator
The CD/DVD indicator flashes when a optical disk is inserted. Th e indicator goes out when
the drive is ready for reading. The indicator lights up when the drive is being accessed.
You may o nly remove the optical disk when the indicator is unlit.
If the CD/DVD indicator does not go out after a op tical disk has been inserted, but
instead con tinues to flash, th is means that the drive cannot access the optical disk.
Either the optical disk is damaged or dirty or you are using a optical
disk that the drive cannot read.

The notebook must be switched on.

► Push the insert/eject button (1).
The drive tray will open.
► Ge ntly pu ll the drive tray (2) c ompletely out.
► Place the optical disk in the drive tray with
the printed side facing upwards.
or
► Remove a optical disk that has
been inserted.
► Push in the drive tray u ntil you
feel it lock into place.
