Hardware installation
Inserting the server

V CAUTION!
Ensure that the safety lock has been inserted before the server is
inserted (see figure 5 on page 51).
V CAUTION!
At least two people are needed to position the server in the rack.
(For the Japanese market, please refer to " 安全上の注意およびその他の
重要情報 ".)
Ê Extend the telescopic rails completely to the front (1).
I They must click into place so that they can no longer be moved.
Ê Insert the prepared server into the protruding interior telescope rails (2) until
the rails engage.
Ê Release the locking mechanism of both telescopic rails - see (3a) for fully
extending rails and (3b) for partially extending rails.
Ê Push the server as far as it will go into the rack (4).
