7. Load the documents in the ADF paper chute (cover).
Load the documents face-down and top-first with their back facing you. Use the reference
marks within the side guides to adjust the number of the documents to be loaded.
ATTENTION
l Do not accumulate more than 50 sheets (with paper weight of 80 g/m
2
[20 lb]) in the stacker.
l In the "ScanSnap Setup Dialog Box" (page 43), select the [Scanning] tab, and click the the
[Option] to show the [Scanning mode option] dialog box. If the [Place document face up]
check box is selected in the [Scanning mode option] dialog box, load the documents face-up
with the bottom part of the documents first.
