SIM card
A SIM Card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card which is inserted in a mobile telephone or
Tablet PC and, together with an integrated UMTS module, en ables access to a m obile radio network.
When handling SIM cards, follow the instructions supplied by the provider.
Inserting the SIM card
► Remove the battery, see Chapter "Removing the batte r y", Page 41.

► Slide the SIM card into the slot (1) until
it engages, as sho wn in the battery
compartment. The notch shows to the
left, the chip to the bottom.
► Install the battery again, see Chapter "
Installing battery", Page 42 .
Removing a SIM card
► Remove the battery, see Chapter "Removing the batte r y", Page 41.

► Press on the edge of the SIM card so that
it jumps up slightly out of the slot.
► Pull the SIM c ard out of the slot in the
direction of the a rrow (1).
► Install the battery again, see Chapter "
Installing battery", Page 42 .
