4.7.4 THREE MONTHLY IN ADDITION
9. Drain the boiler (see Section 3.5 - Draining The Boiler).
10. Remove boiler elements (see Section 4.4.1 - Element Removal).
11. Visually inspect the internal water space of the pressure vessel (see Section 4.5 - Boiler
Internal Inspection).
12. Visually inspect each element and check for excessive scale build-up or corrosion. Clean
as required and replace, always use a new gasket (see Section 4.4 Element Care and
Protection).
13. Check and clean the feedwater strainer.
14. Check all electrical connections for tightness.
15. Remove and clean the boiler and feedwater tank level probes (see Section4.6-Cleaning
Water Level Probes).
Note: Ensure probe caps are reconnected to the correct probes.
16. Return all valves to normal working position.
17. Restore the boiler water level and reconnect the electrical supply.
