4. ROUTES
4.1 What is a Route?
Often a trip from one place to another involves several course changes, requiring a
series of route points (waypoints) which you navigate to, one after another. The se-
quence of waypoints leading to the ultimate destination is called a route. The equip-
ment can store 200 routes, with a maximum of 50 points per route.
You can follow a route that you have created, with the GOTO feature. When you follow
a route, a line with arrows connects between the points. The arrows show the direction
in which to follow the route.
You can create a route from [Home] and [Menu], and you can edit a route depending
on route status (active or inactive) and method.
4.2 How to Create a Route
There are two ways to create a route: [Menu] and [Home].
Before you create a route, you must enter appropriate points.
