11.5 How to Restore Defaults, Clear Memory
You may wish to restore default or user settings.
1. Open [Home] and tap the [System] menu icon to show the [System] menu.
2. Tap [Default Settings].
3. Select one of the following according to your objective.
[Factory Default]: Restore all default factory settings. User-saved items (waypoint,
routes, etc.) are not erased.
[Clear Memory]: All default factory and default user settings are erased. User-
saved items (waypoints, routes, etc.) are erased.
4. A window for system shutdown appears. Tap [OK] to turn the power off.
11.6 How to Update the System
You can update this system, using the memory card for update.
1. Insert the SD card for system update to the SD card slot.
2. Open [Home] and tap the [System] menu icon to show the [System] menu.
3. Tap [System Update] to show the [System Update] screen.
4. Tap [Update Plotter Software] to update the system. Tap [Update Worldwide
Maps] to update only maps.
5. Tap [Exit] to close the screen.
