4.4 Start UNICORN and connect to system
Introduction
This section describes how to start and log on to UNICORN, and how to connect to the
system in UNICORN.
Prerequisites
For UNICORN to be correctly installed, the following conditions must be set:
•
the IP address of the computer must be set to the same subnet as that of the instru-
ment
•
the e-license needs to be downloaded and configured for the computer
•
the system has to be defined with the correct modules in UNICORN
Start UNICORN and log on
Follow the instructions to start UNICORN and log on to the program.
ActionStep
Double-click the UNICORN icon on the desktop.1
In the Log On dialog box, select User Name and enter Password.2
Tick the boxes for the UNICORN modules that you want to start.3
