LeakageTests
Theleakagetestsaresafetyteststoensurethattheequipmentposesnoelectrical
healthhazards.Usethefollowingtabletodeterminewhichtestsapplytotheunit
undertestandthemaximumallowableleakagecurrents.Forinternationalleakage
limits,refertotheinternalstandardsagenciesofthatparticularcountry.
Iftheunitundertestfailstheleakagetests,donotallowthecustomertousethe
equipment.CallGEHealthcareCustomerSupportforassistance.
GEHealthcarerecommendsthatyouperformthesetestswiththefollowingfrequency:
•Beforeapplyingpowerforthersttime
•Everyyearaspartofroutinemaintenance
•Wheneverinternalassembliesareserviced
Youneedaleakagetestertoperformtheleakagetests.
NOTE:
Theaccuracyoftheleakagetestsdependsonaproperly-wiredwalloutlet.Donot
proceeduntilyouverifytheintegrityofthepowersource.
