Introduction and change of the location text
Element 001 is called

[Lower case letters and numbers]
To make changes to the location text, press the
< 9 > key.
You can type in text in 3 ways: “upper case
letters and numbers”, “lower case letters and
numbers” and “words”.

3=Corridor 4=Cupboard 5=Floor

The selected option appears at the bottom of
the screen.
Letters and numbers: this enables the
introduction of the signs on each key and the
forward and back keys are activated.
E.g. To change the room number, press the
<BACK> button once to delete the number,
then press the desired number button.
The cursor “-“, (flashing), indicates the position
on the screen.
Words: this mode is the simplest way of
introducing text that is frequently repeated for
many locations. The control unit has a series of
pre-programmed words that can be selected
using the < 9 > key to advance down the list.
E.g. To change a word (Room) to a different
one (Corridor), select the Words Mode and
delete the word with the <BACK> key.
The cursor remains in position ready for the
introduction of the new text. To enter the word
CORRIDOR, press <3>
Changing the alarm thresholds (detector sensitivity)
It is possible to programme alternative threshold
or pre-alarm and alarm limit values for each
detector (smoke or heat) as long as the control
unit software has the variable sensitivity mode
enabled.
E.g. There is a detector on Loop 1, address 26,
that requires that, between 06:30 and 17:45 a
pre-alarm should be set to 50 and fire alarm to
65, whilst for the rest of the day the levels
should return to the default values (pre-alarm at
60 and fire alarm at 70)

How is it configured?
