8 APPLICABLE STANDARDS
The FP1500 has been designed according to the EN54-2:1997 and EN54-
4:1997 and EN60950 / A4+A11 (1997) standards.
EN54-2 has basic and optional requirements.
Optional requirements of the EN54-2:1997:

Auxiliary functions not required in the EN54-2/4
Apart from the compulsory and optional functions with requirements
defined in the EN54-2/4, the FP1500 range incorporate auxiliary functions
not required by the standard, designed to enable the control and
understanding of the system:
Auto-search options
Allocation of 10 different codes for access level 2.
Possibility of configuration by zones: logical events, general events.
RS485 outputs
RS232 outputs
Auto-search serial ports
Editing of points from the control unit
Editing of zones from the control unit
Editing of logic line from the control unit
Storage of events in a history file
Language selection
