Setting of total inertia of the application with reference to the motor shaft.
Inertia is the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in mo-
tion in astraight line unless acted on by an outside force;
Setting the total system inertia value (motor + mechanical transmission), the drive will set automatically the
PAR 2236 Speed reg P gain proportional gain of the speed regulator in order to react immediatelly to the
speed variations.

Setting of the bandwidth.
The bandwidth denes the dynamic performance in terms of capacity of follow the speed references or torque
which the are time variable .
Increasing the value, the drive responce time will increase (automatically will increase PAR 2236 Speed reg P
gain and decrease PAR 2238 Speed reg I time).
Higher value can be used in the case of “rigid” connections between the motor and the machine. Otherwise
you may encounter instability of the system.
