10.7 BASS M
BASS M key bypasses bass management when active. This function is available when a Genelec Smart
Subwoofer is in use and the bass management has been set up using GLM.
The BASS M enables quick comparison of the of the sound quality when the lowest frequencies are
reproduced in the loudspeaker instead of the subwoofer. Using this control may be useful to understand
how the use of subwoofer affects the low frequency reproduction. For a properly calibrated subwoofer,
the effect of using the bass management bypass is small.
