Troubleshooting
VREF1 FAULT The internal, precise 2.5V voltage
reference is more than ± 0.2V out
of its ideal range for more than
0.5 seconds. This is one of two
checks for this precise voltage
reference.
The alarm is set if this
voltage reference falls
above or below 0.2V its
nominal voltage of 2.5V.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Power cycle the
Main Controller. Clear
the shutdown alarm
using the Display.
VREF2 FAULT The internal, precise 2.5V voltage
reference is more than ± 0.2V out
of its ideal range for more than
0.5 seconds. This is second of
the two checks for this precise
voltage reference.
The alarm is set if this
voltage reference falls
above or below 0.2V its
nominal voltage of 2.5V.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Power cycle the
Main Controller. Clear
the shutdown alarm
using the Display.
INVALID AVR
SETTINGS
This alarm indicates there is a
mismatch between the type of
AVR selected and the
communications or I/O needed
for the AVR to operate properly.
This alarm occurs when:
• Alternator Excitation
Type is invalid
• Using Generac AVR
and CAN address is
invalid
• Using Meccalte or
Leroy Somer AVR and
"AVR Control" analog
output has not been
setup
• Using no AVR or invalid
AVR
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the AVR
settings are correct.
Clear the shutdown
alarm using the Display.
INVALID GOV
SETTINGS
This alarm indicates there is an
invalid Governor or Actuator type
selected.
This alarm occurs when:
• The Generac Governor
is selected but the CAN
address is invalid.
• The Governor type
selected is invalid.
• The Actuator type
selected is invalid.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the Governor
settings are correct.
Clear the shutdown
alarm using the Display.
