Wireless Security
There are four options for Wireless security:
• Disabled - no data encryption is used. It is strongly recommended that this mode is not used. All
WLAN data will be visible to anyone with range of the WLAN.
• WEP - data is encrypted using the WEP standard. The WEP protocol is severely compromised and,
therefore, it is strongly recommended that this mode is not used.
• WPA -PSK - data is encrypted using the WPA standard. This is a later standard than WEP, and
provides much better security than WEP.
• WPA2-PSK - This is a further development of WPA-PSK, and the best level of security. It is
strongly recommended that this method is used.
