6.3 Mandrel spring
• The standard mandrel spring is suitable for use with a standard or standard pointed
spreader nosepiece for versions with or without opening mechanism.
• The extended mandrel spring is suitable for use with an extended or extended curved
spreader nosepiece for versions with or without opening mechanism.

7. Starting procedure
Before starting the device, read and observe the operating instructions and safety instructions (!)
and keep them in a safe place. Have the compressed air network connected to the rivet setting
tool according to specications by skilled personnel.
Caution!
The mandrel spring and the spreader nosepiece should always be selected and used in
accordance with the size of speed rivet to be processed.
