5. Noting the orientation, insert the intended component all the way into
the bay. The security latch should be engaged in the locked position ( ).
6. If installing the optical disc drive, secure the drive with a screw. (See step
3 for the position of the screw.)
NOTE: The component shown above is an example. The look of the
component varies according to the one you have purchased.
Replacing the SSD Module
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC adapter.
2. Carefully place the computer upside down.
3. Remove the screw (if existing) from the SSD module.
NOTE: It is not mandatory to use the screw. You can choose to use it or not.
4. Slide the security latch to the unlocked position ( ) (
) and hold it
there. Meanwhile, pry up the SSD module from one side to detach the
module (
).
