3.12 Additional configuration
The ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION option allows to configure the machine according to
special customer requests. User can modify the setting using the application MSA
Configurator.
3.13 Machine Owner
Using the application MSA Configurator, the user can specify a Machine Owner. The
installation company’s name will be shown on the screen at the machine start-up and
exported in the BIN file in order to be printed on the PDF report generated by the MSA
Welding Book Application.

3.14 Infotext
Using the application MSA Configurator, the user can enable/disable two additional
screens useful for inserting, manually or using the barcode scanner, additional information
to the fusion record. The user can decide to personalize the two infotexts in order to view
on the machine display the exactly reference to a specific information. For example, if the
needs is to track the usage of a specific tool (ex. Aligner), the machine will show:

The parameter could be inserted manually or scanning a barcode (in format CODE128 with
a maximum length of 16 chars).
3.15 Aligner Usage
Using the application MSA Configurator, the user can enable/disable the screen asking to
declare if the aligner is properly installed.

The operator can’t proceed without indicating if the aligner is properly used. The
information will be saved and exported in the BIN file and can be verified creating the PDF
