STICK IN PDF OR CSV FORMAT 09:16 11.03.14
Insert the USB memory stick on the USB connector available on the rear panel of the
machine, then select EXPORT PROTOCOLS. Using the buttons ()() scroll the menu and
choose the export type:
Export all protocols, either in PDF or CSV/BIN Format
Export only the last recorded protocol, either in PDF or CSV/BIN Format
Export the protocols from a specific date, either in PDF or CSV/BIN Format
Export protocols from a specific fusion number, either in PDF or CSV/BIN Format
The PDF files can be opened then with Acrobat
®
Reader. The CSV file can be imported in
Microsoft
®
Excel (or any other electronic spreadsheet) for further analysis or, such as the BIN
file, in the MSA Welding Book application.
Press START/OK (I) to start the data transfer; then a message asking for overwriting the file
might appear if the memory stick already contains data in the similar format. If you want to
proceed, press START/OK (I) once again. Otherwise, pressing STOP/ESC (O) the file will be
created with a new name.
Wait till the message EXPORT IN PROGRESS… disappears. Then you can extract the USB
memory stick from the electro-fusion unit, and connect the memory stick to a PC for data
upload.
If you want to transfer PDF, BIN and CSV files, you can repeat the transfer operation after
the first data transfer, being careful not to erase the stored data!
