3 Configuration settings
The MSA 4.0 (MSA 4.1) offers two possibility to modify the configuration parameters,
manually or by importing a file at the machine start up.
To modify the configuration parameters manually, the user has to enter into the
configuration menu, press MENU, select MACHINE SETUP acting on ()()buttons and push
START/OK ( I ). The buttons ()() allows to navigate all the machine settings; to jump into
a specific menu and change the corresponding setting, select it on the display and press
START/OK ( I ).
Otherwise, it’s possible to modify the configuration settings importing a configuration file.
The user has to create/modify a configuration file using the application MSA Configurator
available in the MSA Application Suite package and save it on an USB stick or export the
current configuration from the machine. Then plugging the USB stick on the USB port
located on the rear front of the MSA 4.0 (MSA 4.1) machine and turning it on the file will be
automatically detected and will be possible to import the file pressing the START/OK (I)
button.

The number of configurable items depends on the user permission. If the user has the
supervisor badge, he can modify all the parameters shown below. If the user is a standard
user he will have the access limited to only few setting.
