ENTRY SEQUENCE (PIT) TO PUT THE CAR IN THE MOST SUITABLE AREA FOR ROOF ACCESS
STEP
ACTION
1
Bring the car to the next floor above the pit by traditional call.
2
Open the landing door to the pit with the emergency key.
3
The lift is out of service (floor call buttons are lit up).
4
Press the emergency stop (red button).
5
Detach the ladder from its storage housing and place it ready for descent into the pit.
6
Close the landing door.
7
Put the ladder back into its storage housing.
8
Release the emergency stop (red button).
9
Turn the selector switch on the maintenance push-button panel to “maintenance operation”.
10
The maintenance technician can now use the buttons on the maintenance push-button panel to move the car up (by
pressing the blue and white buttons simultaneously) or down (by pressing the blue and black buttons
simultaneously) at speed (automatically selected as slow).
When stopping the movement, it is advisable to release the common blue button before the direction button so that
the lift stops more smoothly (highly recommended).
The maintenance technician will choose which point the car should stop at and therefore from which floor the car
roof can be accessed.
IMPORTANT!
Nevertheless, there is only one limit stop contact in the pit that stops the car moving down when
it reaches it.
This contact is positioned to anticipate the impact of the car on the pedestal / buffer.
