► Step 1
Use the “ ↑ ” and “ ↓ ” arrow keys to switch between Static and DHCPv6 mode,
Use the “ESC” key to return to the previous menu. Use the “OK” key to validate the
selection and more on to step 2.
► Step 2
► Manual mode:
Three successive menus allow you to configure:
- The host’s IPv6 address,
- The sub-network prefix,
- The network gateway’s IPv6 address.
The field being modified flashes on the screen.
Use the “ ↑ ” and “ ↓ ” arrow keys to change the field value.
Use the “ → ” and “ ← ” arrow keys to switch between fields.
Use the “ESC” button to cancel the changes and return to the previous menu.
Use the “OK” button to validate the new IPv6 configuration and move on to the next
step.
After the network gateway’s IPv6 address has been validated, move on to step 3.
► DHCPv6 mode:
This mode enables the DHCPv6 client to obtain network settings automatically from
a DHCPv6 server on the network.
Use the “ESC” button to cancel modifications and return to the previous menu.
Use the “OK button to validate the new IPv6 configuration and go to step 3 if the
settings have changed. Otherwise, go to the main menu.
► Steps 3 and 4
The server records the new settings (“WRITING TO FLASH” message) then reboots
(“REBOOTING” message) immediately after.
It is forbidden to attempt to stop the device or to disconnect the device
from its power sources until the product has rebooted completely.
This last step is complete when the device displays the date, time and
synchronisation screen.
