► Install away from interference sources such as neon lights, computer screens etc…
6.2.1. DCF Antenna Part number: 3D6 (4 meters cable included)
Receipt frequency: 77.5 KHz
► Install the antenna vertically, then rotate it to
get a flashing light at the rhythm of one flash per second
and an extinction every minute (in theory, the antenna has
to be positioned facing the direction of the transmitter
located near Frankfurt in Germany).
☛ The antenna must be placed outside the building
to optimise the radio signal reception.
☛
If the conditions are right, the receiver time
setting requires less than 4 minutes.
☛ In case the time is still not set after fifteen
minutes, it is recommended to look for another location for the antenna.

► Maximum distance from the DCF transmitter (Frankfurt – Germany) or TDF transmitter
(Allouis – Cher (France)): 2000km
(Distance may decrease depending on the surrounding terrain and the current atmospheric
