Use of status commands
The status commands display the state of a time server element. Some commands use
arguments to specify their functioning. For instance, to know if the NTP input is enabled:
Use of configuration commands
Most of the configuration commands can be used as status commands to display the current
value of a setting.
To modify a setting, the new value must be given at the end of a command. For instance, to
disable the NTP input:
Displayed warnings
In interactive mode the warnings listed may appear either at the login on the welcome
message or on a new line. If a command has been launched when a warning should appear,
the warning is only displayed after the result of the command is displayed.
