9 TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Conrmation Items Cause Solution
The media is skewed during
feeding the media.
The plotter is CE6000-
120.
Conrm that the left and
the right push rollers are
set to the media edge.
The media will skew
when the middle push
roller is set to the media
edge.
Set the right and the left
push rollers to the media
edge.
The cutting position is
shifted randomly.
Conrm the media is not
skewing when the media
is feeding.
The skewing occurs
when the adhesion
between the surface
media and the base
media is not strong
enough.
Use the good media that
has enough adhesion
between the surface
media and the base
media.
The plotter did not cut all
width of media.
Conrm that the left and
the right push rollers are
set to the media edge.
The plotter cuts only
inside of the left and the
right push rollers area.
Set the right and the left
push rollers to the media
edge.
The plotter becomes to
the ready status without
detecting the push roller
position.
Conrm the MEDIA
SENSOR setting is not
set to “DISABLED” in
the ADVANCE menu.
The plotter will not detect
the push rollers position
when the MEDIA
SENSOR setting is set
to “DISABLED”.
Set the MEDIA SENSOR
settings to “ENABLED”
in the ADVANCE menu.
The plotter cuts the "J"
shaped cutting near the
cutting object.
This “J” shaped cutting
is made by the initial
blade control function
that is controlling the rst
blade direction. When it
cuts the inside of cutting
object that needs to
change the option of
initial blade control.
This “J” shaped cutting
is made by the initial
blade control function
and it will cut on the rst
cutting object of the 2
mm below.
And if the OFFSET
FORCE is high, the J
shaped will cut deeply.
This initial blade control
is performed to get the
correct blade direction.
Set Initial blade control
position to the OUTSIDE
when the “J” shaped
cutting cuts to the inside
of cutting object.
