9 TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Conrmation Items Cause Solution
The rmware can not
update.
Conrm the Cutting
Master 3 or the Grpahtec
Studio is not running on
the PC.
The Cutting Master 3
and the Graphtec Studio
are communicating with
the CE6000 always.
Therefore it will conict
when updating the
rmware.
Exit the Cutting Master 3
or the Graphtec Studio.
Conrm the CE6000
WINDOWS USB driver
is installed on the PC.
The rmware can not
update if CE6000
WINDOWS USB driver
was not installed.
Install the CE6000
WINDOWS USB driver
to the PC.
Did the rmware le
unzip?
The rmware le is
provided by the zip le.
The zipped le does not
work correctly.
Unzip the rmware le
before updating the
rmware.
Is the CE6000
connecting via the USB
port?
The rmware is able to
update via the USB port
only.
Connect the CE6000 via
the USB connector.
The command error is
displayed when the data
send from the Cutting
Software other than CM3 or
GS.
Conrm the Cutting
Master 3 or the Grpahtec
Studio is not running on
the PC.
The command set
becomes to the GP-GL
always when the Cutting
Master 3 or the Grpahtec
Studio is connected to
the CE6000.
Therefore the command
error is displayed when
the other software is sent
the HP-GL command to
the CE6000.
Do not run the Cutting
Master 3 or the Grpahtec
Studio when the other
software is used.
Set the command setting
to the HP-GL.
The Fan is not working. Conrm the Q9 or Q8 on
the main board was not
burned.
Conrm the Q1201 or
Q1202 on the fan relay
board was burned for
the CE6000-120/120AP.
The fan is defective. Replace the main board
and the fan for the
CE6000-40/60.
Replace the fans and
the fan relay board when
the Q1201 or Q1201 was
burned on the fan relay
board for the CE6000-
120/120AP.
Replace the main board
also, when the Q9 or Q8
on the main board was
burned for the CE6000-
120/120AP.
