4.10. DISASSEMBLING THE CHASSIS
Disassemble the body (see section 4.3).
Remove the battery (see section 4.18).
Remove the height adjustment knob.
Remove the height scale cover by prying up the front edge using
a flat screwdriver or similar tool.
Remove the two rubber caps.
Unscrew the 19 type 1 fasteners that secure the upper chassis to
the lower chassis.
Remove the warranty seal at the point of separation between the
chassis halves on the left-hand side.
Carefully lift the back edge of the upper chassis.
Disconnect the communication board cable from the main board.
Remove the upper chassis.
Remove the sealing strip from the lower chassis and the blade
motor housing.
4.9. REPLACING THE FRONT WHEEL ASSY
Disassemble the body (see section 4.3).
Remove the rubber cap.
Remove the type 6 fastener that secures the front wheel axle to
the chassis.
Remove the front wheel assy including the upper washer, upper
bearing, lower bearing, and lower washer.
Fit the lower washer and then lower bearing onto the front wheel
axle.
Insert the front wheel axle into the lower chassis.
Fit the upper bearing and then the upper washer onto the front
wheel axle.
Fit a new type 6 fastener onto the axle.
Note: Do not reuse the old type 6 fastener. Use only new type
6 fasteners.
Fit the rubber cap.
Assemble the body (see section 4.21).
