5.2 Installation Environment Requirements
A. Though the WIT Inverter is protected to IP66, do not expose it to direct sunlight, rain and
snow. Please refer to the figures below:

B. It is recommended an awning be installed over the WIT Inverter to extend its service life and
avoid performance de-rate. Ensure that a distance of at least 1 m exists between the frame of
the awning and the top of the WIT Inverter and 1.5 m between the sides of the awning and
the WIT Inverter. Please refer to the figures below.

C. Do not place the WIT Inverter in an enclosed and narrow space for operation.
