3.2 Inspecting the product
During periods of storage, protect the pump against moisture and heat.
If the pump is not in operation or is being stored for more than a month, turn the impeller once a month.

Do not turn the impeller by hand. Always use an appropriate tool.
On pumps fitted with guide vane, be careful not to damage the guide vane when turning the impeller.
After a period of storage, inspect the pump before putting it into operation. Make sure that the impeller can rotate freely. Pay attention to the
condition of the shaft seals, O-rings and the cable entries.
3.3 Lifting the product

Always check the lifting bracket and chain for corrosion or wear before lifting.
Always lift the pump by its lifting bracket or by a forklift truck.

When lifting the pump, make sure the centre of gravity is between the forklift arms. The approximate centre of gravity is marked
with a label attached to the transport stand.

Never lift the pump by the power cables.
When lifting the pump, use the right lifting point to keep the pump balanced for proper installation. The table below shows the correct
lifting point.
