Slide rails
When installing the switch into a 19-in rack, you can use slide rails to support the switch.

(1) Slotted hole 1 for fixing the slide rail to the rear rack post. You can adjust the screw (M5 tapping screw) hole
position according to the position of the switch.
(2) Cooling hole for heat dissipation between switch and rack
(3) Slotted hole 2 for fixing the slide rail to the front rack post (M5 tapping screw)
(4) M5 self-tapping screws for fixing the slide rail to the rack
NOTE:
Slide rails purchased from H3C apply only to standard racks with a depth of 1000 mm (39.37 in). Use
other supports to substitute for slide rails in case of other rack depths.
Rubber pads
Each S3100V2 switch provides four rubber pads, as shown in Figure 20. Before mounting the switch to
a workbench, attach the four rubber pads to the switch bottom first.

Mounting brackets for wall mounting
The S3100V2 Switch Series provides mounting brackets for wall mounting, as shown in Figure 21.
