Problem/Symptom Correcve Measure
Jumps between repeated paerns
Use of any of the Repeat opons results in a
jump between each paern
When using the Repeat funcons, if the start and/or
stop points are within the block of the paern (i.e. they
are not located at the le and right‑hand sides of the
paern block and/or not at the same height), there will
be a jump between each repeat of the paern. This can
be corrected by selecng the Point 2 Point buon.
Error messages
Motor Error with lightning bolt icon in the top‑
right corner (may occur with various types of
Motor Error messages on the screen).
This will occur with various types of motor errors.
Generally they mean that the Pro‑Stcher Lite cannot
communicate with the motors. Check that the carriage
is plugged in and that the serial cables are connected
properly into the box behind the Pro‑Stcher Lite tablet
computer. If everything is connected properly and
power is on, press the lightning bolt buon to aempt
to reestablish communicaon with the motors.
If this occurs during stching (possibly due to a large
electrostac discharge (ESD) event or power surge),
the Pro‑Stcher Lite will stop moving and wait for
the lightning bolt icon to be pressed. If the quilng
machine is sll stching at this point, press the STOP
buon on the handles. Pro‑Stcher Lite will not resume
on its own aer such a disrupon for safety reasons
and will require user intervenon to resume stching.
When communicaons are reestablished by pressing
the lightning bolt buon, it will be necessary to reset
the starng point to the posion where the stching
stopped and resume stching from that point. If the
tablet touchscreen does not respond aer such an ESD
or surge event, it may be necessary to reboot the tablet
using the power buon. A mouse may be plugged in to
an available USB port and used to save any work prior
to reboong the tablet.
