Chlorine Dioxide
Press ZERO and "SIP" will blink on the display.
Wait for a few seconds and the display will
show "-0.0-". Now the meter is zeroed and
ready for measurement.
Fill another cuvet with 10 mL of the reacted
sample (#2) up to the mark and replace
the cap.
Insert the sample into the instrument.
Press READ DIRECT and "SIP" will blink during measurement.
The instrument directly displays concentration in mg/L of chlorine
dioxide on the Liquid Crystal Display.
SAMPLING PROCEDURE
It is recommended to analyze chlorine dioxide samples immediately
after collection. Chlorine dioxide samples must be stored in dark glass
stoppered bottles, with minimal head space. Excessive heat (above
25°C/78°F), agitation and exposure to light must be avoided.
INTERFERENCES
Interferences may be caused by strong oxidants.
