Enable or disable in-body image stabilisation.
Disable image stabilisation when using a tripod. Otherwise, the image quality will be
adversely affected.
Image stabilisation is not supported when using some of the H System lenses. Make sure
to disable image stabilisation to avoid a decrease in image quality when a hint for not
supported lens appears on the screen.
Focal Length
Main Menu > Stabilisation > Focal Length
Set the focal length of the lens when using a lens other than XCD and HC/HCD lenses. The
maximum adjustable focal length is 499mm.
Make sure to set the focal length correctly. Otherwise, stabilisation performance will be
adversely affected.
