8 Mounting the Anybus

‐module (accessory)
The housing of the interface module TIM40 has a slot for Anybus

‐modules.
Notice
Take care when mounting the module. If the module is askew, the connection
pins inside the housing may get bent.
► Place the TIM40 housing on a flat surface as shown in Fig. 8.1.
► Remove the cover of the slot.
